Never Summer Rocky Mountains Sunset Original Acrylic Painting: "Ignited Peaks"
This Fiery Sunset Phenomenon occurs when the sun is low on the horizon, and its light passes through a thicker layer of the atmosphere, scattering shorter blue and green wavelengths while allowing the longer red wavelengths to dominate. This painting was based on a sunset viewed by the artist in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The park is 415 square miles (265,807 acres) that encompasses a spectacular range of mountain environments. From meadows found in the montane life zone to glistening alpine lakes and up to the towering mountain peaks, there is something for everyone to discover!
This original acrylic painting "Ignited Peaks" shows the never summer mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park with a fiery sunset. This painting is on canvas and measures approximately 9 inches by 12 inches. This painting is a genuine, hand made creation.
