Original Acrylic Painting "Kisses in the Cosmos" Milky Way with Garden of the Gods Kissing Camels
Garden of the Gods is a world-renowned 1,341-acre public park in Colorado Springs famous for its dramatic 300-foot towering red sandstone formations against the backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak. It is a registered National Natural Landmark and has been voted the #1 city park in the U.S. The Kissing Camels is the most iconic rock formation in Garden of the Gods, featuring two distinct "camel heads" that appear to be touching noses. This natural sandstone sculpture sits approximately 70 feet high atop North Gateway Rock.
Colorado features some of the darkest skies and highest altitude stargazing locations in the United States, making it a premier destination to view and photograph the Milky Way. Because of its dry air and vast pockets of undeveloped mountain territory, the state is home to numerous officially designated International Dark Sky places. The galactic core is visible from March to October, with the absolute peak viewing season occurring during late summer and early autumn when the galaxy's center rises highest in the sky.
This original acrylic painting "Kisses in the Cosmos" shows the kissing camels on the north gateway rock at the garden of the gods with the milky way above it in the nights sky with a colorful cool tone. This painting is on canvas and measures approximately 16 inches by 20 inches. This painting is a genuine, hand made creation.
